Analyze

General overview

Analyze dialog provides an extended view of data in sets of specific graphs that focus on multiyear comparison and single-column visualization.

Profiles. Yearly/monthly diurnal profiles graph
Multiyear Analysis. Comparison of years as time series, maximum GHI/DNI/GTI, maximum daily ktm
Kt Graphs. Set of graphs in Kt space. GHI, DNI and DIF columns need to be in the dataset in order to draw all graphs.
Monthly Averages. Monthly averages graph
Trends. Trend graphs with linear, polynomial or moving average trend line

Component	Description
Dataset	Selected dataset for visualizations
Column(s)	Selected column or set of columns for visualizations
Options	Various options for each tab
Aggregation	Output time step.
Min of valid points	Minimum required number of original records (in %) for summarizing the output interval. If this condition is not met (e.g., there are less than 30 1-minute records in hourly output interval, while we require 50% minimum), the output interval is empty - filled by NaN value.
Year/Month	Filter data by year, month or year and month
Date	Filter data by date and/or time
Data column	If only one dataset is present, it's possible to filter data by range from any column of that dataset. If multiple datasets are present, it's possible to filter only by solar elevation.
Period of day	Filter data by period of the day, similar to filter data by solar elevation
Flags	If checked, data are filtered by flag values from flag column
Valid	Check valid flags
Select All	Check all flags
Deselect All	Deselect all flags
Flag values	Dataset flags from dataset flag scheme
Redraw	Redraw current graph with the latest changes.

monthly / yearly	Show monthly or yearly diurnal profiles graphs
View in time zone	If checked, data are shown in UTC chosen
mean / median	Show average/median diurnal profile line
percentile	Show custom percentile line
fill between	Fills area between custom percentiles

h0 limit	Filter time steps where sun position are greater than h0 limit
value limit	Filter time steps where column values are greater than h0 limit
Ktm limit	Filter time steps where clearness index values are greater than Ktm limit
Ktm std limit	Filter time steps where standard deviation of clearness index values are lower than Ktm std limit

Component	Description

Used only when input is sub-hourly.
Linear trend	Draw linear trend line
Polynomial trend	Draw polynomial trend line of selected degree
Smooth data	Use only full period for calculating polynomial and moving average trend lines
Moving average	Draw moving average trend line with selected number of months
