FAQ:

  1. How to remove shading losses due to horizon from the data:

It is possible to achieve this by making horizon completely flat in the XML request (see below):

In the response XML you will see the losses from ´´terrain´´ equals to 0:

  1. Is it possible to get Solargis horizon data from xml response?
    No. When a customer does not insert horizon data to xml request, then our xml response does not contain any horizon data.
    When a customer inserts his horizon data (downloaded from Solargis Prospect or from other source) to xml request, then the xml response shows exactly the same horizon data (to confirm that they were used).
