General overview
A clone dataset is a tool that duplicates an existing dataset. A dataset is copied into a selected database with a defined dataset name.

1 | Original dataset | Selected a dataset in a current project in a main screen. |
2 | Clip by | A cloned dataset can be restricted by a date time range. Only data within defined period are copied into cloned dataset. |
3 | Clip maintenance log | In case original dataset contains maintenance log, a maintenance log can be restricted by a date time range. Only maintenance events between one event before defined start date and one event after end date are copied into cloned dataset. |
4 | Dataset name | Output dataset name. A dataset name must be unique in the the selected DB and in the currently opened project. |
5 | Database | Select database to store the combined dataset. By default, it is the database where the primary dataset is stored. |
