General overview

A clone dataset is a tool that duplicates an existing dataset. A dataset is copied into a selected database with a defined dataset name.

Original dataset

Selected a dataset in a current project in a main screen.

Clip by

A cloned dataset can be restricted by a date time range. Only data within defined period are copied into cloned dataset.

Clip maintenance log

In case original dataset contains maintenance log, a maintenance log can be restricted by a date time range. Only maintenance events between one event before defined start date and one event after end date are copied into cloned dataset.

Dataset name

Output dataset name. A dataset name must be unique in the the selected DB and in the currently opened project.

Database

Select database to store the combined dataset. By default, it is the database where the primary dataset is stored.
